Their seafood is the best and the clerks there are always so helpful (Jess). Their bakery is also terrific and always has sugar free deserts. Meijer has the freshest produce and always has great deals. (This is an A-List game and they never stocked it! He was unable to locate the game, and said they probably never had the game. I went in for a new video game and the only person in electronics that had a clue about it was the camera and photo salesman. This Meijer is smaller than most, also has very rude employees. Points for low prices on non-perishable staples & decent produce, but otherwise its Kroger for me. I once got cod that smelled so bad the checkout cashier asked me if I was sure I wanted it, and on three occasions now Ive bought meat that went really bad within two days. I dont shop here anymore for meat or seafood. Its not their fault, they get what is shipped to them & I dont feel they have control over it. They havent carried a double roll of Northern tp in over a month. Ex: A salad dressing was out of stock from November to February. They are always out of products that you regularly buy and it takes them weeks to restock. Generally speaking, the cleanliness, prices and patrons are not worth the effort of visiting unless theres a hefty sale. They have great Gardein options and sometimes sales on those, so thats fantastic- earned them 1 star. Their produce is overpriced for the quality. Its just a peopleofwalmart contestant with entitled personnel and equally disheartening customers. Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. If you take an item through the u-scan that doesnt have a barcode, the cashier will ask you what the price was, when you tell her she will tell you that youre wrong then proceed to make up a price and enter it in, if you ask her to actually go and check the price she will tell you that she already entered the price and turn her back to you and walk away. When I went to the costumer service, she replied me with a sentence starting like "I dont eat eggplants and." It was not a helpfull sentence. There was pictures on some of the signs, there were not picture on some of them. You have to be an expert on eggplants to understand which one is which. The price signs were so confusing as you can see on the picture I attached. I bought several eggplants and confused about the prices on my receipt. The only good thing good about the store is they have cheap electronics and gardening stuff. I worked there for a month, and I have seen stuff that may disturb some people.Įx: when I went to the back of the store and headed where they keep the fresh produce, well there was a over filled garbage compacter with 3 1/2 carts full of rotting watermelon in fount of the garbage compacter with flys all around the garbage and the " fresh"produce. And at least once a year they rearrange all the aisles and you cant find a third of the stuff you need to buy. Grocery-wise, the produce section is laid out horribly and the produce is pretty bad (often overrripe). And then when you get to the register and tell the chair the item that rang up for $10 should have been $8, it takes 10 minutes for them to figure out. Missing price tags, mis-priced items, items on the wrong shelves. I call my refills in 2-3 days in advance! Wasted trips to the pharmacy are the WORST! I keep giving this pharmacy opportunity after opportunity to get it right, but for whatever reason theyre majorly lacking in the area of communication. On multiple occasions my prescriptions are not ready, they dont have the medication in stock, which I understand things happen BUT, the least they could do would be to communicate that to the customer. I transferred to Meijer upon moving to Columbus/Dublin area. Meijer is open along with a handful of other stores, including Rite Aid, Walgreens, Dollar General, and Gordmans.Im ONLY giving this Meijer/pharmacy a 2 star rating because the female pharm technicians are really sweet. on Thanksgiving Day so that gives you plenty of time before the table is set and family has arrived. Their main store locations are open from 6 a.m. Meijer is open on Thanksgiving Day and stocked for your last minute grocery shopping needs. When that happens, the first thing we tend to do is head to our local grocery store like Meijer, but before you run out the door, here's what you need to know about Meijer's Thanksgiving Day hours.
